Like the G Series Hagen, this unofficial second version pairs Nike's classic waffle sole with a sleek stitched upper. Arriving circa 2007-2008, it retains Dylan Plater's version of the sole design from the Hagen and Chengdu models while tweaking the upper. A grey suede eyestay extends toward the patent leather toeguard, forming an overlay that wraps to the heel, while metal grommets replace the original Hagen's shrouded eyelets. The material makeup is an unusual mix of nylon, smooth suede, and patent leather on the upper with a leather lined insole. True to the G Series' minimalist branding, the only logos are an engraved Nike Lab mark on the midsole and the G Series logo on the insole.
