There once was a complement to timbs in NY, the Nike Boot. The Nike ACG Air Max Goadome designed by former ACG designer Carl Blakeslee in 2000, wouldn't go on to release until 2007. When it finally did, it struck a chord with Washington, D.C., Maryland, and various parts of NYC, thanks in part to Wale who dropped his early career hit "Nike Boots". It served as a DC anthem, elevating both him and the boots to new heights. Nike even joined the fun featuring the track on their website and tapping him for collaborations. Meanwhile in Harlem, urban trendsetters like Dipset sported them proudly.

Eventually trends began to change, and the Goadome's popularity wained a bit as years went by. Nonetheless, they are still a certified classic, cemented in sneaker and music history.

This version is Gore-Tex and features the signature plush black leather throughout the entire upper. The bright varsity red midsole and ACG logo on the outsole are the only hits of color providing a striking contrast.
