Shot put, discus, and hammer shoes, also known as throw shoes have seen few changes over the past 15 or so years (especially for Nike). The feature that stands out the most are the bottoms. They are completely smooth with no grooves at all, which makes them excellent shoes for hammer throwers as well as rotational shot/disc throwers. The design is geared to limit internal movement and enhance stability, featuring a velcro strap across the middle that makes it easier to execute rapid pivots.

The Zoom Rotational has been around for 15+ years at this point and continues to see new iterations. This version from the mid-2000s sports a mixture of mesh, leather, and nubuck with sea green paneling and orange accents.
