 By November 2012, Nike had sold Cole Haan to Apax Partners for $570 million. In its final years under Nike, Cole Haan revived the Air Conner, a versatile 2001-era silhouette that bridged casual and business-casual wear.

The model featured a classic visible heel Air unit, similar to those found on the Air Max 93 and 94. Most pairs were constructed with premium leather uppers, with variations ranging from ostrich or croc print to brushed, pebble, patent, and tumbled leathers. Its T-toe design subtly echoed the look of Prada’s iconic America’s Cup.
